Jeff Medley
Hands on VisionaryJeff Medley is the President and founder of Netfor. Jeff leads the vision for Netfor and creates the strategies and tactics needed to guide the company in the right direction. He also oversees the continuous improvement of the company’s service portfolio and allocation and investment of financial resources. Before starting Netfor out of his home in 1995, Jeff worked as a mechanical engineer on government defense satellites. He has always enjoyed discovering how things work and then how to improve them. At an early age, Jeff was introduced to entrepreneurs who took the time to mentor him and answer his questions about starting a business. Jeff has a knack for seeing the potential in everything, including his own business and clients. His passion allows him to always strive to make things better. Outside of work, Jeff spends time in the great outdoors whenever possible. He likes to sail and camp or simply stay home and grill a great meal. His wife refers to him as “the Jukebox” because once he hears even a few bars of a song, he can’t stop singing or whistling it … until he hears the next one.
Travis McIntyre
Forward-Thinking People PersonTravis McIntyre is the Vice President of Improvements and Implementation at Netfor. He started with the company in 1999 and is currently responsible for all major service improvement initiatives. He is active in new company engagements and manages all new client implementations. Travis is proud to be a “people person” both with his team members and his clients. Travis has always been well-rounded, balancing his people skills and professional ambition. Growing up he was the social organizer, including gathering groups of over 200 for games like capture the flag. He understood from an early age the importance of collaboration and continues to work jointly with others by serving on various industry committees. He enjoys home improvement projects and values time spent with his family. Travis loves reliving all the “firsts” of life with his young daughter, Lilly. He is an avid outdoorsman enjoying a multitude of activities and nature. He enjoys reading, astronomy, and learning new things, including his pursuit of a green belt in Goju Ryu Karate. Don’t sneak up behind him. EXIN Certified in Service Management
Jerry Kerns
Techy For LifeJerry Kerns is the Vice President of Technology at Netfor. He started here in 2000 and today manages the infrastructure of the company, ranging from facilities to enterprise technology to software development and any other general technology tasks. Growing up, Jerry was the kid who loved taking things apart and putting them back together, just to see how they worked. Though this habit was much to the dismay of his mother and the family appliances, it is this explorer attitude that makes Jerry so good at his job. Jerry enjoys reading novels and watching movies and television shows with a good villain, but he’s not so fun to watch them with if you want to be surprised. He can usually predict who-done-it within the first five minutes. Jerry loves spending time in nature, especially taking motorcycle trips with his wife of more than 20 years. Their favorite places to ride are the Great Smoky Mountains between Virginia and Georgia. Microsoft Midmarket Solution Provider
Lewie Wilkinson
Master of ProcedureLewie Wilkinson has been at Netfor since 2008. As the Netfor Service Desk Manager it’s his job to ensure service delivery goals are maintained through appropriate staffing and to monitor all output to make certain it aligns with the Netfor procedures. He also has the enviable power to make schedule adjustments and grant paid time off. As a kid growing up in Brownsburg, Lewie was a straight A student who liked soccer, music and computers. Those interests led him to study informatics, atmospheric sciences and music at Indiana University. When he wants a good laugh, he turns the television to the Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, Workaholics or Parks and Rec. But he’s no couch potato. Lewie enjoys fixing just about anything that’s broken, completing home and auto improvements, and plays guitar in a garage band. Lewie values learning from his own and other people’s experiences, successes and failures to help him become a wiser person. At Netfor, Lewie appreciates that every day he can walk into the office and impact the way a client, fellow employee or boss feels about their day. EXIN Certified in Service Management
Beth Medley
Client Experience ProBeth Medley is Netfor’s Customer Service Manager. Her top priority is ensuring that all client issues and needs are resolved quickly and to the client’s complete satisfaction. Beth is known around the office as the woman to go to if you need a good sugar fix because she loves to have candy around. Outside of the office, Beth cherishes the time she has with her family, playing board games, walking her dog or digging into a good book. No one can make her laugh as easily as her kids can, though a good Chevy Chase or Leslie Nielson movie can give them a run for their money. She enjoys cooking and is constantly experimenting with new dishes. She admits a not-so-popular hobby of hers in solving math problems as an extracurricular activity. (We’ll never understand that one.) Beth loves managing Netfor client accounts and appreciates the company’s attention to crafting great customer experiences. She is proud to work for a business that is positive and always striving to do better every day.
Eric Kempher
The Answer ManAs Netfor’s Training Manager, Eric Kempher trains employees and is responsible for quality assurance. He manages Netfor Service Desk Training and provides any needed procedural or technical assistance throughout each day. Around the office, he is known as the man with the answers who is glad to help out his fellow coworkers. An employee at Netfor since 2009, Eric likes that he works for a growing company with good people.
Tim Ludden
The Riddle SolverTim Ludden is the resident Netfor Knowledge Publisher and Technical Writer. He has an indispensable talent for taking complicated information and turning it into digestible language for coworkers and clients. Tim attended Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana, where he majored in history and economics. For fun, Tim loves hanging out with close friends and family. But if he suggests cracking open a box of Monopoly or Settlers of Catan, be warned. One of Tim’s not-so-secret skills is the ability to master any board game, even after just one time playing. Tim appreciates working for a company that has found a way to be professional, yet also friendly and open. He likes that no matter how busy the management team is at Netfor, they always make the effort to relate to employees and promote a connected workplace.
Sterling Satterfield
Land-Locked LeaderSterling Satterfield is the Field Service Manager at Netfor. At Coleman College, he majored in Core Programs for Information Systems. Sterling prides himself on being a hard worker and loves his job providing support to onsite technicians and Netfor remote technician staff. Before landing at Netfor in 2003, Sterling was in the U.S. Navy and worked in accounting for his air squadron. Because of the times, however, he did not have the luxury of a computer. Instead he managed the books with an old-fashioned pencil and typewriter. When he is not working late at the office, Sterling loves working in the community with his church, providing needy family with clothes, food and a place to worship. Sterling says he has a wonderful professional and personal life, for which he credits his wife.
Brian Laughman
Jack of All TradesBrian Laughman started with Netfor in 2000 and is currently our Office Administrator. Brian handles accounting, human resources and some internal IT issues for us. Around the office, he also handles many of the odd jobs that need to be taken care of, including one his more popular requests from coworkers of, “fixing missed time clock punches.” Growing up in Massachusetts, Brian loved building and playing with toy airplanes and space ships. As an adult, he tinkers in home beer brewing and wine making. Brian enjoys reading science fiction and watching movies. He can readily deliver a line from “The Princess Bride.” Brian considers himself a jack-of-all-trades and has previously worked as a drafter/C.A.D. operator, machine shop C.N.C. operator and graphic designer. He loves that his job at Netfor allows him the opportunity to use so many of his skills and talents—excluding the airplane building.
